Open Day 2012

Last Saturday (31 March, 2012) we opened our doors to the public. It was wonderful to see so many students who were proud to show their families and friends around the school and to explain the work that they have been doing over the past few months. It was also a wonderful opportunity to meet members of the public and potential students for the coming school year. To those of you who participated in our Open Day, we thank you.

Parachute challenge

The children in Rainbow and Yellow classes have recently been learning about the inventions of Leonardo da Vinci. They were challenged to design and make a parachute, using a plastic bag, that was capable of getting a stick man to the ground safely. All of the children did a fabulous job and had a great time testing their inventions. Below are some photos from their challenge:

Welcome back

Welcome back to school. The teaching staff all hope that you had an enjoyable holiday. The children seem refreshed and excited about the learning opportunities planned for the coming weeks.
