2013-2014

This school year begins with new faces, new events and a whole lot of homework. Haha.. Well, this year, there will also be a new set of editors and they are students who are working on their DofE award.

Firstly, what is DofE?
DofE stands for Duke of Edinburgh. It is an international award that is given to young people who are developing skills and confidence, and discovering talents and new experiences. :D

This year, a few students from IGCSE will be helping out in the school blog. The editors are: Benjamin Dissez (helping in the French section of the blog), and Manaka Shibuya and Belinda Chua (helping out in the English section of the blog). We will be regularly updating you about the interesting things happen at school!

So, what about the other students who are doing the DofE?
They will be carrying out a range of fundraising activities throughout the year. Some of them are raising money for a water-well in Madagascar. Others are raising money for Apimi, which is a kindergarten for both disabled and non-disabled children. We would appreciate your support for the future fundraising events. :)
