Students make music in ICT

On Thursday the 30th of May, UMS and on Thursday the 6th of June, GCSE took part in 
a special  "music and ICT " session led by Mr Flavius Turcu, a CNRS researcher. Flavius does
maths and signal processing for his living but also plays the piano and is passionate about music. Our pupils were able to tap into his expertise and try something completely new!

He introduced the students to Podium, a profesional music production software (free licence). After about 2 hours of
hard work (but also fun work), UMS students produced some really good pieces of music!

This week UMS are tasked with composing a song of their choice with the aim of compiling a class album!
